It's here, it's here!

It's cold, it's cold, it's coooollldddddd!! Ok, so, I'm sure to many this isn't considered "cold" but you know what I mean. I woke up this morning and didn't even know we had gotten a cold front. It wasn't until someone told me how cold it was outside that I jumped up and ran to the front door.

I think Frankenstorm brought this weather to us.

Oh, Frankenstorm. Being born and raised in Florida, you can imagine how many hurricanes and tropical storms I've seen in my day. Heck, sometimes in the summer we see thunderstorms that have crazy conditions that could probably be tropical storm/hurricane status. So, while I consider myself a vet at this stuff, I'm also not going to poke fun at the mass hysteria Frankenstorm seems to be causing in New York. Though I will say this - it is a little funny to hear reports on it. I've heard weathermen refer to Sandy as "historic", "catastrophic" and "devastating" (one even played scary music in the background). Really? Hype, people. Don't believe it.

Off topic! I have celebrated Halloween twice now and will also celebrate on Wednesday. First our party. I got my dates confused and thought I had to work Saturday night, but it turned out I was wrong. So we headed downtown last minute to party it up with drunken ghouls and goblins. I've decided to take off Thursday to go to Disney with a friend in town which means Wednesday night we get to head downtown again. Best halloween everrrrr.

Happy Hearts,
Alex
