It's beginning to look a lot like... Christmas?!

.... Huh? You mean Christmas isn't right around the corner?! Well, if I were relying on the local malls and stores around here, I'd be fooled! The day after Halloween I found myself being subjected to Christmas music. Really?! I still have bloody drapes from our Halloween party hanging.

What's with this rush? I feel like every year we start hearing holiday music and seeing decorations sooner and sooner. I honestly feel like it's a marketing ploy to get more money.

We're barely into Fall! Florida hasn't even had a solid week of chilly weather yet. I'd like to enjoy the present. I want to sit outside and enjoy and my pumpkin spice latte, the crisp weather, and autumn colors. I want to anticipate Thanksgiving. I don't want to rush into winter and christmas trees and presents. Why are we wishing away the year, anyway?

Slow down, World.

In other news, I signed up for a color run. To say that I am so stoked is an understatement. I'm sososo excited!! I think it's going to be the funnest thing EVER and it's in a January! A great start to a fresh new year! Here's a fun video showing just how cool this color run is:
